This book reflects a very interesting moment in such discussions, providing an updated picture of some of the most critical institucional
and technical issues in water resourches management in Brazil and in Europe. Selected topics were addressed by invited speakers of the EUROWATER Project and from the World Bank
and several organizations at the meeting held in Foz do Iguaçu in April, 1999. This meeting was attended by more than two
hundred participants. According to general opinion, it produced the most fruitful and enlightened discussions and results
among all recent meetings held by the Association in this field. |
